From August 1 to August 26, the third-year Junkers of the National Defence Academy are taking a "Water Survival Training Course" at the base of the Special Operations Battalion.

Graduation ceremony of Baccalaureate and Officer Training Candidate Courses and 103rd anniversary of the Academy were celebrated with a solemn ceremony at Parade ground. 110 lieutenants were added to the Defense Forces of Georgia.

The second phase of the summer camp started in the National Defence Academy on August 7. The project is implemented together with the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. The summer camp will last for one week at the National Defence Academy, and the 10th and 11th-grade pupils of public schools of Khulo municipality will take part in it.

The Minister of Justice, Rati Bregadze, together with his deputies, held a public lecture at the National Defense Academy on the topic of the Protection of Georgia's Sovereignty by Legal Ways. The guests were hosted by the Rector of the Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze.

A scientific-practical conference "The role of communication in the management process and its psychological aspects" was held in the academy. The head of the Scientific Research Center of the National Defence Academy, Colonel Giorgi Laghiashvili, opened the event with a welcome speech.
